Welcome to Pentwynmawr Athletic Football Club. Pentwynmawr AFC is affiliated to the Gwent County Football Association and the North Gwent Football League Association.

Pentwynmawr Athletic 1st Team are playing their football in the Gwent County Leagues. During this time the club have won promotions to Gwent County Division 3, Division 2 and recently to Division 1. The 1st Team manager is former player Simon Hickman and his assistant manager is Gwyn Powell.

Pentwynmawr Athletic 2nd Team are playing their football in the North Gwent Reserve Division. The 2nd Team is currently managed by former player Tudor James. His assistant manager is Robin Churchill.

Pentwynmawr Athletic Under 18’s Team is managed by Gwyn Powell.

The clubs ultimate goal over the next few years is to launch the club forward on and off the field developing the club into a more professional outfit in the ambition of gaining further honours and promotions.

Summer training for the two senior teams takes place from 6pm on a Monday and Thursday at Newbridge Canal Grounds.

Winter training for the two senior teams takes place from 8pm on a Thursday at Newbridge Leisure Centre Astroturf.

The village of Pentwynmawr is located in South Wales and has its own Primary School, Local Shop, Community Centre and Chapel.

Also located in the village is the Clubhouse which is called Pentwynmawr Sports Bar which has recently been transformed into a modern era premise.
